General Exterior

The judicial building, built in 1997, is in excellent condition, (P1).

 

The building does not need any additional work.

 

Exterior Walls

The exterior walls are made of brick and limestone.

 

 

 

Roof

The roof is an EPDM membrane 4 years old and original to the building.

 

 

 

Windows and Doors

The windows and doors are original to the 1997 construction.

 

 

 

Fire Safety

The judicial building meets all current fire code requirements, (P2, P3).

 

 

Structure

 

The building is in excellent condition.

 

 

 

Security

The building meets all security requirements, (P4).

 

 

 

Electrical

The electrical system is original to the 1997 construction.

 

 

 

Mechanical

The mechanical systems all appear to be in excellent condition.  The building has a Trane Chiller and air handling system and Bryan boilers (P9).  The building has an emergency generator, (P11).

 

 

ADA

The building meets all ADA requirements.

 

 

 

Space requirements

There is a need for more storage throughout the entire complex as noted in the courthouse report.

 

Build a 5,000 sq ft new storage facility near the courthouse complex to house records.
