WPA Stone Annex

General Exterior	The WPA building is located just behind the main courthouse. It is a 2-story building with a basement. The exterior of the annex consists of cut stone with a flat roof. Exterior Walls	The exterior stonework on the building is in good condition but is stained and dirty. There were no visible cracks in the exterior. P13
Roof	The roof is flat and was inaccessible during the inspection. Several ceiling tiles were water damaged. The roof appears to be leaking.
Windows and Doors	The windows in the annex building are old, wooden and single paned. Paint is peeling off from the window frames. The doors were also made of wood and are in good shape.
Fire Safety	The annex has fire extinguishers and a fire alarm system. The hallways and stairwells are very narrow.	Move to proposed judicial annex building.
ADA Compliance	The building is not ADA compliant.	Move to proposed judicial annex building.
Structure	No were no significant structural problems noted during the inspection.
Security	There is no security system	Move to proposed judicial annex building.
Electrical	There are old electrical panels on each floor.
Mechanical	The building uses window AC units for cooling. Heat is provided from main courthouse’s coal fired furnace (see main courthouse report for details).
Work Safety	No issues were noted during the inspection.
Space requirements	The WPA stone annex is a small and very cramped building due to its design. There is very little available space for work or storage. P7	Move to proposed judicial annex building.
